Hey Pao, sorry I didn't reply earlier, I meant to but I've been working a lot more over the past two weeks and the time just totally escaped me. I've been doing good, finally back to vectoring again. This new one is turning out really well, I'm really happy with it. It's not really a straight vector though I guess, I've been using PS's paintbrush for all of the shading, and the results are really quite cool. Twilight really screwed up the Vampire genre, and I want my book to be as far away from Twilight-like as I can get it without really messing it up xD Other than that life is plodding along as usual. =P How are things going with you my friend?

I noticed you do use lineart, but it appears so sparsely distributed that it kinda confuses the eye when your black lines, meet lineless areas. I think if you plan to do lineart, it's either you commit to using them, or not.

Well, it was a choice to use line arts just in some parts and not in others, to create something different but I think it could seems weird for someone, but, personally, I like it :)

Ito kasing si aki, sobrang bastos at yabang. Imbes na constructive criticism ang gawin, inaatake yung waller. Kung titignan mo yung mga latest comments nya, makikita mo na halos lahat ay pambu-bully lang. Ewan ko ba kung bakit ganun na lang ang galit nya sa mga baguhang waller. Kaya heto, sinusuportahan ko si Gii. Hinamon lang ni Gii, tapos pinakita kaagad ni Aki kung gaano kaputi yung itlog nya. Puro salita lang pala yung duwag eh.

Hi there Pao my friend, how are you doing? Working hard and keeping busy I'm sure. The life of a surgeon I imagine is pretty full on, leaving not much spare time for yourself. Well, I hope you're well and things are going good for you. I just wanted to drop by and say Hi, I've been thinking of you wondering how you are.

I'm doing really well. I took a short break from vectoring after my collab with Banty, but I'm back to vectoring again. I've got a few vectors on the go and another wall with Banty. Were hoping to have it done by V-day, fingers crossed xD

I'm working now too, not sure if I told you. I got a christmas casual position in sales at a local store that sells toys and science kits, geeky stuff (perfect for me xD ), which has turned into a permanent casual position, so Yay!!!! \o/ I'm stoked. I love the job, even though it's only one or two days a week. Im happy though, which is what counts, right!? =3

No photo gigs yet, although I'm working on retouching a few pics and updating my portfolio. I'm working ony buying a new camera, too.

I'd recommend "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson. It covers the basics of photography. I was able to download an ebook for free, but it was so good that I just went ahead and bought a paperback copy anyway. It's written in a straightforward, easy-to-understand and often funny manner. To this day I still go back to it when I feel like I need a refresher.

"P" is for "Pao" and "M" stands for "Medyo naughty". Hahaha hinde, P or Program Mode is a step up from full automatic while M is for full manual. Though when I shoot casually, I usually stick with AV (Adult Video). I reserve M for those times when I'm shooting in the studio, shooting with flash or when I'm shooting under tricky lighting situations (Indoors with low light, concerts, backlit subjects). I'd suggest sticking with M when starting out to help you better understand the relationship between f-stop(Aperture), ISO and shutter speed.

My cousin and I plan to go there just for the heck of it. I plan on going there with no set itenerary, no set place to stay, just go there and let things happen naturally. Come what may kumbaga.

I'd love to meet other APPLE members, though it seems the only active member left is JD, and he hasn't been active all that much.

and oh yeah... standing next to you I look so short. XD which reminds me of a quick tip: to make short people look tall, shoot from a lower angle, like say, waist level. Tom cruise is quite short; almost all shots of him are shot at a low angle. Same deal with Daniel Radcliffe.

And I hope to see your wall soon; I've been meaning to create a couple of walls but I've been too busy.

Apart from the usual sight seeing, I've been running a lot lately. It allows me to encounter more "sights" as opposed to sitting down. Kaya lang just a few weeks ago nagka-injury ako, shin splits 'ata tawag sa injury ko.

Nice to hear you got yourself a camera; I haven't tried my hands on a 4/3rds system yet, might be interesting.

And I knew you would like madoka! Can't wait to see that wall when it's done.
